All I've said from the start is that "I'm getting a 225% yield based on my 'Yield on Cost', which is what I've been saying all along, i.e. "Last FY they paid A1.7245 = 225% div", based on the $0.766 purchase price Old Engineer and I were discussing.", that's a fact, note fact, not fictional. For some reason 'nosirommit' went off on a tangent and now you.

Also, I wouldn't want you as my financial advisor or teaching me:

"That .7245 cents paid in 1994 (if that is the year) would be the equivalent in today's money of $1.27"

Big fail, you did get the year right though, unlike your first post where you said it was 30 years ago. Write out 100 times "I must try harder". And it's CSL not "CSR".

Also, "So, just for starters, you can't compare a yield earned in 2017 with a price paid in 1994 for a particular share." err, I wasn't.
