I carn't disagree with anything that has been said regarding the new issue but what other alternatives does the company have than to ask the shareholders for support. For months we have been reading that Gina has not done anything or that a fighting fund should have been organized to fight the state govt but now the company is asking all shareholders for support and I believe we should although I will not make my final decision until after I hear what is said at the AGM .This issue with the state govt has almost gone beyond that of investment opportunities in oil and gas and is now entering an ideological argument regarding fossil fuels. I cannot speak for anybody else but I have had enough of this incompetent govt and maybe just maybe its time for me and perhaps others to put our money where our mouths are in the hope that we can win this case or perhaps generate enough bad publicity for the state govt that there hold on power is seriously threatened which no doubt would cause them to change there minds re onshore exploration.. I don't know what the terms for the issue of the new shares are at this stage but I know I cannot afford $15k but I think I can find a couple of $k which combined with amounts from other shareholders hopefully should give the company what it needs. For me now this is not about investment (although the end result could be very fruitful) it is more about taking the fight to and defeating a dishonest/deceitful/corrupt govt .
