Far more concerning is right wing governments behaving like terrorists, attacking other countries on the slimmest pretext and abandoning the rule of law and due process of justice merely on the strength of the mention of "terrorism".
The whole thing is getting very bloody serious now. This is what you get when governments act like terrorists. It would be too generous to say that all governments are simply reacting - this is a great opportunity to increase control and enact draconian measures, just what the authorities have wanted, but not possible without the spectre of terrorism.
Now we will see an escalation of tension and probably conflict, between the fascist UK and US and the currently libertarian Europeans and Asians. It will be played out as usual by proxy, in far off lands like the middle east and Africa. Hopefully the US economy is ruined by mismanagement before the US has the chance to impose its injustice on other parts of the world and remove the rights and freedoms of US citizens.
