One thing is for sure QIN will be adding management fee's to all the bills and if there is not a very good paper trail provided it leaves room to be totally ripped off.
I can tell you from experience in forestry, it's not unusual to have a harvest manager that has a financial interest in the harvest crews, trucking companies and the sawmill the logs are sold to........ infact right down to the earth moving company that build any harvest infrastructure like roading and logging platforms.
I not trying to scare monger I am just trying to share my experience but it appears you already have your eyes wide open......good for you.
Do you know if QIN tender out all the work or use related parties to do it all.
If they are using related parties and aviod tendering out the work there is a very good chance you are getting screwed

The harvest and selling fees are set at 5% of sale proceeds!
