It's funny you say that cause I've heard Rio is definitely shopping around everywhere right now. Early stage, but looks like the Serbia project is not as easy as 1-2-3. And that's an understatement.
In the end it's all about the numbers. And the numbers for M-K will look pretty good after JORC
My speculation: if not taken over before end of year, in January the likes of Glencore, Rio etc will all want at least a seat at the negotiation table. Doesn't mean they will win of course...
You know why? Companies like Rio and Glencore love the tin! Who else can deliver that?
