I'm sceptical when I see laterite mentioned, as we all know it is energy intensive, costly and can be a difficult process to get started when processing laterite Ni.

As others have said though, this may not be a laterite deposit and what is at depth could be really exciting. There is a link below which tells the story of how Nova was discovered.
I am in no way saying this is Sir 2.0, the comparison I am making is for the initial discovery and holes drilled.

The following section captures my attention:

The drilling programme identified a broad area of lateritic nickel-cobalt enrichment and several holes intersected significant (0.5 to 1.0% Ni) nickel-copper mineralisation at or near to the end of hole suggesting that some of the nickel in the laterite may have been derived from the oxidation of primary magmatic sulphides rather than just through the weathering enrichment of ultramafic rocks (see Figure 4).

I looked at G88 at 21c, saw laterite and never bought, learnt a lesson but still managed to get on board with a small parcel on what could be an exciting ride.
