Had a quick skim, looks a pretty solid company slowly on the rise. Very conservative in style as opposed to say a MinRes. Given this, it's more a testament to their belief in LPD. In a world where cash is king, they were happy with LPD shares.
As you say Gary is pretty well known in those circles. That may have been enough, or they could be privy to commercial in confidence knowledge. That satisfies their concern of being rewarded for their work on our behalf. Ie: We have Mitsubishi backing to construct the plants. Nothing untoward about that, that's business. Otherwise, accepting shares from a microcap would have been a very risky move.
