Not so sure much money will be made in DRC for much longer. Isis has moved into the rebellious eastern area, where the cobalt is mined and where rebels are consistently expanding the areas in which they command, and could represent an increased threat to cobalt production. One single road carries most of the country's cobalt production (60%-plus of global production) through the rainforest out of the country. It is extremely vulnerable to attack and easily could be made impassible by a dozen guerrillas (not the hairy ones) well armed and with dynamite sticks. Imagine what that would do to CLQ's share price and that is one reason why I am a shareholder. And this doesn't even take into account the prospect of DRC cobalt being officially designated a "conflict mineral" owing to use of profoundly abused child labour. I wouldn't go within a km of DRC cobalt miners--the whole industry could grind to a halt in one night. Dangerous roads subject to guerrillas in NSW shouldn't be much of a problem for CLQ!
