Cash flow positive is good but its hardly a unique and compelling reason to buy a company on its own.

This is why the share price has come back down to earth. I don't believe its irrational. Now that revenue growth appears to have returned to normal levels from a base of just $24 million, sensible market cap valuations can be made.

The irrational sentiment was the one that created the +$300 million market caps, although that can be blamed on an irrational management, it doesn't remove the irrationality from what happened over the last couple of years.

I guess the rebuttal to that is if a drop in one quarter's revenue is enough to call a change in trend of revenue growth?

Especially when the main market that Alexium sells into, being mattresses, has a proven seasonal factor?
