The Ozone hole is scientifically documented as been a result of Mt Erebus eruptions from 1972 to the current day ... this includes both Chlorine and Bromide compounds. The Antarctic atmosphere is so dry during the winter months ( low resistance ) that compounds are easily transported to the lower stratosphere by the intense lows.
