Yes on the Aspect Trading article I was quite sceptical. That is why I suggested the force of the article was more from the head of the writer than from data.
I did note that the prices of the vertical axis were the same over 30 years - and so there must be some calibration - but what calibration? How to check it? I noted that on the horizontal axis the timing between prices beginning to rise and going thru a boom - bust sequence were identical - that floored me. And where is supply in the sequence.
The article was suggestive of a dream - at best.
