nothing wrong with your suggestion and i know i don't hold a crystal ball either and anything is possible but i doubt we will see a merger, Apex are on their own path, management know exactly where they are taking this baby, refractory gold is different to 99% of all the other gold producers in australia. I cannot see where they would find a suitable fit with any other company currently out there.

We may see spinoffs with regards to nickel and there's always possibilty of a bigger fish seeking a takeover but again only my opinion i doubt management would agree to a takeover any time soon,

as such any effort would have to be hostile... in saying that these guys are or were involved in some of the bigger companies, lionore, forestania, kag zinc. they have great reputations and lots of friends throughout the industry and world, they also own a large portion of shares so i can't see this happening within the next 5 years. something would have to dramatically change first.

Apex will become a major player in its own right, ashley helped turn lionore from a 100mil company to a multi billion dollar company, fingers crossed apex will benefit from his nouse, when we are anywhere near that big.. bring on the takeover!
