    aramalap2,

I think you'll find that is incorrect. What really happened is he wanted to go to Collingwood but knew a deal would not be done so he said that he wanted to go to Carlton so it looked like he was going where he wanted to go. He wouldn't be very popular with the Carlton members if he said he wanted to go to Collingwood, but went to Carlton when a deal couldn't be done with the Pies and then broke down and Kennedy turns into a gun power forward for the Eagles. This way even if something goes horribly wrong, it won't he's a gun, then at worst the Members will think he's "one of us". Imagine what they would say/do if he went to the Blues after saying he wanted to go to Collingwood then broke down or for some reason didn't perform.

If you don't believe me that's fine but if you read between the lines in the article in tomorrow's Melbourne Age you will see what the real truth is.... "Did getting a deal done have any influence on your decision?" "Yes it did, but it wasn't the reason I decided on Carlton" If it wasn't the reason then he would've said NO IT HAD NO BEARING ON MY DECISION.

Not that it matters now, I wish that he was a Pie but good luck to him at Carlton though and well done to all the Blues supporters you've been through a tough few years and it'd be great for the game to have the old Collingwood v Carlton rivalry up again.

    Cheers

    Pete
