Where r the ghz experts when u need them?
ie appears acma will b bringing forward the auction of 26ghz before 2019 ie not normally done before international union has decided which frequency should b adopted globally which apparently is 2 years away ie 2019, but have read tls appears positive regarding the 26ghz frequency.
ps trujillo convinced union at barcelona 850mhz was the 3g standard,by memory tls has been doing the same with the 26ghz for 5g.
lol ,sry,i mean i guess tpg has emptied its pockets with its $1.3b purchase of 700mhz for its 4g network,or maybe not,but as optus and tls have been investing in their national 5g network they have the most to gain from investing in the 26ghz,it makes me think its a big incentive for vodafone and tpg to partner in bidding for 26ghz? but tpg has plenty of debt after buying 700 and vodafone is as tight as a fishes ___.
Still leaves open a global bidder to bid and partner with tpg and y tls probably needs to save its pennys (just in case) to compete and buy the amount of 26ghz spectrum they require.
ps last auction was a shocker ie tpg paid $1.3b for a lot of 20 700mhz,vodafone paid reserve ie approx $250m for the less lot of 10.,these auctions r becoming very serious.
