crystal ball reference was to previous claims to forecast Dy prices and losses based on made up numbers and opinions with fake links to back it up.

NdPr may be ok for replacing Dy in EV car speakers, some low cost EV motors and magnetic signs on EV vans but at the end of the day you get what you paid for and Cost Efficiency is not synonym with Efficiency.
Very unlikely that NdPr can ever replace Dy in high temp & other critical applications and that is not going to change anytime soon either. Its also one of the reasons the Chinese who already control most of the RE market are looking for new suppliers of Dy in Africa and Australia and are prepared to back it up with cold hard cash.
