What a load of crap, it was quite clear that if the yes vote came in the government would legislate and would not if the no vote got up. Are you seriously suggesting people would have voted differently?
The only people that are pissed off is those that voted no and now can't accept the yes vote got up by so much, if it was close I would agree it would be best to hold off.
Dean Smith was going to table his private members bill early this year due to the fact labor was not coming to the party for a plebiscite. He agree to hold off while the government tried again and having failed they came up with the Survey.
Polls where suggesting the yes vote would come in so not surprising MP's where preparing for that, some MP's that where on the no side accepted what the polls where saying and declared they would support the legislation if that was the result.
Gee you guys are behaving just like when Abbott was dumped, in denial of what happen and blaming all and sundry
