Agree. Totally underrated in crazy bull markets like this but i've always tried to divert a fair amount of trading profits from specs into investment grade small and midcaps, so that i'm still exposed to growth but my portfolio is becoming skewed towards higher quality stocks that usually require less maintenance. And while we think of specs as the easiest way to nail a bagger in the ST, stocks like HUB FID APX show what's possible when you recognise a story early and let it ride. Generally much more sustainable gains too.
