It's dead simple Steveo just take the build out the equation and look at land it's still blown out of proportion compared to wages, you oldies can't deny this.

and yes Jim is right house sizes have increased, but thats simple choice, and the price of building a house has pretty much gone up on par with wage growth, IE cost 10x as much to build now as back than as and wages have gone up 10x as much as well

however land value as gone up about 30x THAT is the issue.
You guys make some valid points about red tape ect but the fact of the mater is land value has gone up 30x in the last 40 years however wages have only gone up 10x its simple maths.
