Criteria on good or bad posting can be to a certain extent flexible. Fundamentally, well researched argumentation will add points.
We all can be right or wrong, as we cannot know everything.
However, mindless repetition of points that have been exhausted to death and have really lost relevance, especially when accompanied with the sardonic smile of innocence seriously question the intentions of the poster. Documentation becomes unimportant and the supposedly informative nature of the conversation simply disappears.
We must bear in mind that these forums shouldn't be academic practices for the knowledgeable, just for the sake of the argument. Many layman investors depend on the opinions passed on these pages. It would be dignified to exercise restraint when our point of view has reached its expiry date. I would hate to think that one has ulterior motives for reappearing out of the blue and persisting.
This not about denying the opposite view the right to exist, it is about fending off the potential ill effects of points that have been superseded by the developments.
