    If you read the sheet, in part it says they used 90 - 300 kg / tonne as the liming rate for AASS and PASS. On eBay, hydrated lime is $1100 per tonne. Bulk orders would be at a discounted price. Do your own maths but, to me, the treatment costs at the liming rates indicated, together with the labour involved in mixing and testing, make tipping the stuff into a water filled pit pretty attractive.
