Yes, it can be murky territory.
Geodynamics Power Systems (formerly 100% owned by GDY), and now merged into Exorka International Limited (47% owned by GDY), had exclusive rights to Kalina Cycle use in Australia and New Zealand.
GDY have therefore retained these rights, and still retain non-exclusive global rights to Kalina Cycle use, through the Exorka holding.
Wasabi DO NOT have any Australian rights to Kalina use, and will be pursuing opportunities overseas (possibly North America, although I have never followed WAS closely). There is not a huge amount of money chasing the Kalina Cycle at the moment, as product penetration has been low (in the same was product penetration for the dominant Rankine Cycle was initially very poor).
