The only problem is that Hydrated lime is not what is used for ph adjustment in soil . No need for facts to get in the way of a ramp .
Calcium carbonate is used for lowering acidity in soils . I've put out 100's of tonnes of it myself .
Hydrated lime is calcium hydroxide and is used for other purposes .
