I don't think anyone said it can't be done. Seems they just think it is too early to take it seriously.
As you develop skills and a portfolio it will become easy. Then you'll be cruzin'. And that's as good as retirement.
And as I already have my neccesities and most of my toys, I will not need a six figure income in retirement so I can retire on half a mill invested if I'm good enough, (which I already have).
