No it isn't! Yes, they have a SIM product, and yes it is expensive, but

They also have a WiFi product that is IDENTICAL to NOR's yet to be released product! It has been in the market since Feb. No Augmented reality, but more hot spots. Their pricing and go to market strategy seem very similar to NOR's. If you want to learn a little more I'd encourage you to read some of their releases, very relevant to NOR's WiFi aspirations, particularly in order to project ramp up costs, etc.

I'll also comment that FRX have flagged an upcoming WiFi product that will include Inflight & Cruise ship data access.

As for security/VPN, I see no difference in how UNL's or NOR's WiFi will perform. Interesting that NOR has kinda stumbled onto their next best thing (World Secure), much in the way WGL did. WGL (who funnily enough shared some management with ZIP (hahaaha) tried the VPN thing about a year ago, but failed and have now pivoted to the education niche, product released last week. NOR aim to do the same but their differentiator being an easily provisioned & managed offering to the corporate market.

The similar part to NOR is that they see the capability to add value through capturing and analysing the data that flows through the VPN.

Whether this is more NOR hot air, or not, remains to be seen. I'm not an expert in that area, but would expect that the big boy Firewall/security vendors and SD-WAN types out there have the mobility angle covered.

I don't know who the big banks here use to manage their mobility, but I'd suspect Cisco/Skype/Telstra all the way.
