I meant they failed to hit goals.

Sadly, missed goals was something they demonstrated a bit too often.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Not saying GC was insane, but maybe persistently delusional about risk?

I mentioned to him that Alan Studley had to go in and do the hard stuff, including firing people which was very painful for someone like Joe Maeji. (Which makes JM's enthusiastic support of Alan Studley at the AGM all the more remarkable and notable.)

GC replied, he had fired 8! Thereby totally missing the point.

I wasn't going to mention this as I still like GC as a person, but I mean really? It shows he has so little insight. No responsibility taken for the fact that it wasn't AS's mess, it was his! For the persistently misguided approach!

Firing more people than AS isn't a plus.
