Hi JB, wholeheartedly agree with your sentiments on manipulation. It can short term blip a market either way but it's a dangerous game to play for long as it's you vs everyone else.

Why would you build a sophisticated strategy that has you fooling the market that will bite you at the first sniff of trouble, when you could use the same sophistication to have a strategy that let's you ride the market sentiment and most of the work is done for you. To me, searching for market manipulation as a reason is either searching for bogey men or excuses for bad decisions.

If you're meaning CG, to me he just did his thing and did it well. He bought low and sold high and did very well out of it and then moved on to the next opportunity. Like all good strategies it was nice and simple and then well implemented. He was making money while we were losing it which is sometimes just the way of the market. During that period it was CG - One, and those that hung in Zero.

But as I said earlier, I think finally we may have got to the situation where today is another day and the tide of market sentiment is turning. It's been a tough wait I tell you, don't know how you keep the faith as well as you do and others. Hopefully some sort of payday is building.
