He was born flesh, as man is, he was still flesh as he progressed in life, grew stronger in wisdom and statue in favor with God and man. And at his Baptism he received the Spirit without measure.
God's words are Spirit, so that means he received all of God's word as well at his Baptism, hence then doing the will of the Father, he then preached etc, he died and rose in that same Body but now immortal and as the Bible states that Man Jesus is exulted and at the RHS of God. So in that sense, the same today, yesterday and forever and "that" is very clear and No hint whatsoever that it is only referring to the Spiritual.
