My point, milesg. There would be no buck passing because it just wouldn't happen. The states are in dire straits because they DON'T spend enough on the services regardless of what the fed does. I would rather see the Fed spend it on services, but I would say their attitude is, if the state government won't support their own services, how can we.
When it boils down, who we vote for and put in power, they are not going to fix the current situation or take it back to the good ol' days.
This country is doing just fine at the present. Why change it?
