    simonne1...

I currently hold positions in some 14 shares...I have posted recently on about 3 or 4 of them.

I post more often in the initial transition phase, as my research uncovers "scenarios" that I feel people can benefit from...when value is to be had and the story is little knwn or discussed...but once a stock becomes more popular and many are posting on it, most topics tend to get raised negating the need for me to raise them.

What purpose in regurgitationg the same stuff over and over?

I held a decent holding in MPO until the sub-prime correction, but suspect like many, readjusted my portfolio away from such capital reliant plays.

I posted this at the time.

I currenty hold a significant interest in ARE, AZA, GUJ, RMS and INP (among others)...yet I rarely post on them given their stories have not changed from my previous comments.

Seriously...think about what you are saying...it is simply not possible to maintain a detailed commentary on every stock I hold...or have held...or will hold.

I have said previously...I now limit myself to just one or two stocks for detailed assessment at any one time now...and as was the case with MPO, when CVI reaches a stage that most of what is going on is either known in the market, being raised by others from time to time...or importantly, when the transitional play has reached a point of equilibrium (in other words, the corporate incentive has been met), I will likely reduce my level of posting on her and look to another more exciting set of corporate circumstances to focus my attentions on.

One can study and "interpret" a story only so far. At the beginning there are all sorts of possibilities...as the story progresses however, the "shape" of things becomes far more quantifiable, at which point we can buy ar sell based on our views of value given the greater level of information availble.

The greatest value is to be gained from finding this value before everyone else...not jumping on when the "story" has become blatantly obvious.

That's the point where Clackers would buy in and I would sell out!

I also dislike certain insitutional interest in stocks...we saw it in NDO and are seeing it now in MPO. There modus operandi is to make the stock a non-profit equation for traders, just like the activity which effects CFD or ASX300 listed stocks.

In my view, one of the most uplifting...OR DAMAGING...events than can impact a stock is when they finally gain "institutional" flavour, the exact nature of which can be a terminal affair.

The manipulation exerted is both blatant and very confronting in an apparent environment where such things are not allowed.

    Anyway, back onto CVI...

I will retain an interest in CVI...as I do with all the good stocks I comment on...until such time as I see fit to sell, or buy more...for what ever reason.

For now, given the nature of their changing circumstance, in my view tis will be multiples of the current price...as I have said. If however we see changing circumstance for the worse...as I recently discussed in GUJ, one of my other current interest, I will just as happily discuss that.

Seriously, this idea of somehow being obligated to respond to any question on any stock is just plain juvenile.

Look at how many posts I have made in recent days...I cannot even find the time to post on my favourite stocks, let alone repeat myself in aswering others who are simply too lazy to go back over my previous posts on the thread in question.

Especially when such people are really only out to make trouble anyhow.

Look...I could have spent 15 minutes typing about CVI...instead I am responding to you!

    Cheers!
