I am not here to s*ck anyone off, I hate getting on my knees. But credit where it is due, great response T4P, sounds like you have had to give variations of it before. It is obvious why so many respect your posts!

In fact, you should take the main highlights and add them in to your signature. If you haven't already (clearly I haven't read it if you did). That way you would never have to repeat it again.

T4P, can I ask you one question? I am not sure how much you would like to elaborate on the answer, because it may just be the secret ingredient to the T4P recipe!

Where does your research start? I am sure there isn't any one great source, but generally, if you were to sit down now and find a company matching the above description, what knd of places would the hunt begin? And can you quantify the hours you put in for said research? I feel like I am at the tip of the information ice berg! In fact I know I am.

We are subscribed (through work, at a cost of close to $100k a year!) to truck loads of resources. Including free ones such as emailing lists etc, paid subscriptions in veda advantage (ASIC docs etc), factiva, LexisNexis, D&B, several industry specific e-magazine style subscriptions, hard copy subscriptions, overseas equivelants of our ASIC type doc providers, and a lot more I can't think of off the top of my head. There is a lot of info out there and I honestly find the overload of it pretty overwhelming at times! If I don't have something specific to look for, that is.

Once I have a 'target', I can exhaust myself researching them. I think what I am probably missing, and what you probably have lots of, is human contacts. I am just one dude surfing the net, effectively. No heads up. (Plenty of good heads up from my mate who works for magicmillions on the Gold Coast though, for the punter amongst us...hehe).

I am asking this long winded question as much out of hoping for a small tip, as I am out of general interest! Anyone else use any of the above resources for their trading? Got any others to add to the list? Geez, this could probably be a main room thread. I might re-word it and post it tomorrow some time : ) Might get some great online resources listed.

I haven't been on here long, you may have answered things like this before, if so just say so and I will look it up, T4P. What key words wold I use? "Secret herbs and Spices" by T4P?? lol
