You dirty dog..... No wonder you emailed me about the funny thread - you are a leg shagger and a cad - and maybe damien83 needs to ignore YOU
Now - damien -serious tips other than reading those bookes for the next 83 years - learn some very basic TA - (technical analysis ) charting - but VERY basic - only need to understand uptrends, moving averages and spot price and volume changes. Next - you MUST have a live streaming data programme to be a trader per se. You read ALL price sensitive announcements as they are streaming through - (the ones with the ! next to them) - then if they sound 'interesting' you take a quick look at their chart - see if they are in an uptrend - or look 'interesting' on the chart - like volume has recently increased or whatever - then you go and research the living sheet out of that company (usually looking for a small priced share with a microcap that announced something giving it the potential of good growth.) These are the ones that T4p would be interested in looking at, and from maybe 20 a day - after research, some would be instantly dismissed for reasons you get used to finding, and there might be one or two a week that deserve furhter research. That starts with treading ALL their announcements for hte last few months - knowing their projects intimately, where they are, who is involved, how is hte company finance situation etc. Excuse typos - I can't go back and change them easily - the puter has gone onto funny session where it deletes letters, so I can't just swap and change them and I"m too lazy to go retyping!
I really think that is enough for tonight - it's given you a starting point. Sure - read the books too - I read them too, but don't live and die by them - they are for investors, more so than traders.
