if you need to ask why the coalition needs to be replaced, you will not understand the answer.

so many things have gone on in australia over the last 10 yrs that its impossible to cover on a chatsite like this, especially when so many have set opinions.

for each argument, eg: 17% rates in '89 under keating.
there is a counterargument 18% rates in under treasurer howard.

a political party represents the interests of a group of people. the interests of a millionaire factory owner is different to that of a struggling factory worker. there will always be a difference of opinion, based on a voters own needs, if they think only of themselves.

if you intend to vote the govt back in, please just look at the evidence. read widely. understand the ramifications. understand the point of differences between the gov't and the alternative. take labours wheat policy for example. they want to get rid of the single desk. research that issue alone.

think about what sort of nation you want your kids to grow up in. this doesnt worry me, im gonna die one day. my kids and grandkids have decades in front of them, as have yours.

for one, i value honesty and integrity. the govt is bankrupt in this regard.

i am a socialist at heart. i want everyone to share in the prosperity. i dont want a society where my daughter walks out of a flash restaurant after spending $300 on a feed and gets shot walking back to a burnt out car because that killer's father got screwed by j howard back in 2007.

at this point, nearly 60% of the country want a change of government. can you imagine the polarity, distrust, and anger in the wider community if the govt is re-elected because the punters are tricked by tax cuts, smear, and talk of events 15yrs ago. (i rates)

theres six weeks to go. reading the stuff i see here for that long will do my head in.

vote libs if you want obviously, but have a good look at the alternative. dont fall for the politics of fear. be courageous and be smart. you're all investors/traders gor gods sake.
