Does anyone know how Amazon comes up with its average rating of 2.7 out of 5 stars? Just looking at the IQbud rating, I noticed how low the rating is given 47% of reviews are 5 stars, with the other reviews fairly evenly spread across the other stars.
Based off the percentages, when working it out myself, I calculated the following:
5 star reviews= 51
4 star reviews= 11
3 star reviews= 11
2 star reviews= 19
1 star reviews= 17
Therefore there have been a total of 404 stars from 109 reviews. Which gives the IQbuds a rating of 3.7 out of 5 stars by my calculation.
Alternatively when looking at the median rating, it is 4 out of 5 stars.
Anyone have an idea how the 2.7 star rating is obtained?
