yeah, you have to wonder when it will end, and how. Notice the calls for another dose of Volker lately. They hated him when he was fed chairman, but now they recognise that he let markets work and set up the growth for 15 years of so after. These guys in the fed working off puter models of how things should work - reminds me that subprime debt was worked out the same way, not to mention that old established model called black scholes.. funny, but these models always seem to favour banks.
