ben cousins sacked, page-43

Warnie, I'm not writing Ben off. I was responding to the issue of him being sacked by the WCE's.

Mate, if I was on the board of the WCE's i'd be the first to say lets get Ben some help and give him the support he needs to get through this. Unfortunatley, his playing career is over! Like it or not.

Mate, I agree we all have issues in our lives, some more than others. There is always the line of what is legal and what is morally right. What might be morally wrong can sometimes be legal, and what is morally right can sometimes be illegal. i.e. gambling your life away is legal, but has moral repucussions.

What I really mean is footy is just a game. It may be a job to Ben, it may be his life passion, but put it aside and sort out your life first and foremost. I'm sure his friends and family would rather him not playing footy, off drugs and alive and well than as he is now.
