Investing in both LYC and ARU are just like any commodity company it is an investment in the price of the commodity they produce. There have been some very smart investors on here and some good posts about the future direction of REE prices (and it mostly appears up). While LYC and ARU have different baskets of REE, my bet is on ARU being a great investment.
The PF has its critics but if one equates NPV with Market Cap even at a quarter of the NPV in the ASX release ARU is undervalued. The quarter of estimated NPV comes from discounting the initial price the ARU estimates by 25%. There are heaps of variables that one could adjust and people on this forum have. Also much is dependent upon the business models which as juk has pointed out are vastly different.
