Got a few EV questions ive been pondering on all week on my long commute to work,
if we are expecting the worlds fleet of cars to be replaced at an alarming rate,
do we have the recycling capabilities to deal with the superceded vehicles or will there be random mountains of cars spread throughout the world gathering spiderwebs for centuries?
mostly made up of steel, will the recycled materials create a surplus that totally kills any need to mine iron ore ever again and what impacts will this have for the australian economy considering its one of our biggest exports?
is it time to buy an old car crusher and lay in wait like a trap door spider for the flood of business coming?
is it economic to retrofit electric engines/parts to older cars to overt the massive waste of resources of discarding a car?
i dont expect all these to be answered but its a long drive to work and these were on my mind.
cheers guys.
