I'm sure you've seen this announcement from Fisker claiming a "solid-state battery ‘breakthrough’ for electric cars with ‘500 miles range and 1 min charging’" and that is what you were referring to with the reference to solid-state batteries...

I saw it last week and I wasn't sure if the battery chemistry was some form of lithium or graphene or some other wonder material (only because it actually doesn't say). I should have just Wikipedia'd the subject matter...

Thanks for the confirmation that if the world goes 'solid-state' then there will still most likely be some lithium involved, because I was fretting about for a little while last week. Having said that, the glass battery in the Wikipedia article uses sodium as a substitute for lithium and I still think the Fisker announcement reads as if they are being very coy about the battery chemistry. Your thoughts on Fisker?
