You can relax Carabaea as I do not see any delay. Look at the announcements surrounding last capital raising in Aug 06. We had a Trading Halt on the 24/8, suspension on the 28/8 and the announcement on 30/8. These things take a bit of time (assuming it is capital raising).

With regards to your desire to raise a larger amount - $10 million, my comment would be that Oil and Gas companies gain critical mass from drilling for oil and developing oil discoveries. Look at the last spike in BKP and it coincided with the drilling of Heron. BKP has had a bank balance of $11 million for the last 12 months and that has not stopped the share price from receding to all time lows.

We need income from production. We now have that - approx $50,000 per week. We need a lot more and La Punta 2 should deliver that. We also need exposure to the drill bit. On going drilling programs sustain investor support and interest. We also need to be drilling in locations where we are most likely to make a discovery. Drilling near structures that host known oil fields provides this opportunity.

These are all issues that Dr Fenton has mentioned in his most recent announcements and these are the catalysts for achieving the critical mass that we all want to see.

Management/executive group of this company have a significant shareholding so I have no doubt that they will balance the dilution issue with the need of BKP to raise capital to grow.

Everything in the Oil and Gas Industry takes place slowly. Just one of the reasons why the rewards are so great for those that persevere.
