Kevin Strom's Sinking Ship Who Will Go Down With The Weenie?

Commentary -- Kevin Strom, in conjunction with his wife, is really one of the biggest losers I have ever encountered. This man has absolutely no life. He does literally nothing productive. He does nothing for the NA, he does nothing for anybody else. He cares zip for any sort of political idea or movement. He styles himself some sort of "master" of infighting, but I have to believe that his mastery is mostly in his own mind. He is such an interesting character I feel the need to write a bit about him here.
Kevin Strom his no official position in the National Alliance. He is not even on the National Alliance staff. He lives in a little house in Virginia with his wife, and neither of them have jobs. The NA sends him a considerable amount of money every month in return for undefined duties as a "consultant"; he has been lobbying hard for his wife to also be brought onto he NA payroll as an undefined "consultant."
Kevin Strom's theoretical job is that he publishes National Vanguard magazine and produces the radio shows. In reality, he does, essentially, neither. National Vanguard magazine has not been published in six or seven months. The radio shows he doesn't even write most of the time any more -- he simply reads a script that one of two or three other staffers write for him. his total work contribution to the National Alliance, in exchange for several thousand a month in consulting fees, is less than half a days work on the average week. not surprsing that he wants to bring his wife in on this sweet deal.
Kevin Strom has not even spent much time at NA headquarters. True, in the late 1980s and early 1990s he spent time there, but in 1995 he ran away and abandoned the NA over fear of the ramifications of Pierce's involvement of alleged involvement in the OKC bombing. he also was not particularly involved in the Na until Pierce's death. He showed up at the compound while Pierce was dying and asked to be placed on the Board of Directors; Pierce refused.
Since the NA has dissolved, Strom has capitalized on the weak managerial skills of Erich Gliebe. Gliebe does not know how to bring an uppity employee to heel, and has so far refused to dismiss Strom despite repeated requests. This has led the Board of Directors to consider removing Gliebe, though they cannot figure out who to replace him with. It is my predictions that there will be a serious restructuring in the near future that will leave Strom 100% out of the National Alliance and Gliebe, possibly still as Chairman, but with more assistance in areas where he is weak, so he can play to his strengths.
But Strom's relationship with the National Alliance gives him one advantage -- he has a lot of time to spend playing around on the internet. Most of Strom's time "working" for the National Alliance involves him launching 'net based political intrigues on messageboards; one could say he needs to get a life.
Strom launched a campaign of harassment against VNN where he ordered NA members to call the colocation facility running VNN and threaten lawsuits against it for defamation; this did not result in any downtime for VNN, but caused some minor bureaucratic upheavel as we moved it to another facility. Strom has recently called NA unit leaders and ordered them to go onto the VNN Forum and make statements denigrating VNN, ShopWhite, and myself. He has also ordered his handful of adherents to flood email lists and other messageboards with this nonsense, and has done the same with Hal Turner. As I have said, Strom needs to get a life.
Now, on the one hand, you have a man collecting a check from NA salaries without performing any work. On the other hand, you have a man who, even in his non-working internet life, has failed to show any competence. you would think that NA members out there would start to get a clue.
Kevin Alfred Strom is a drain on the white nationalist movement. He sucks down significant sums of money from the National Alliance and pisses it away on a lifestyle that revolves around posting messages on internet messageboards. The end result of his campaigns have been noticeable -- not vast or great, but noticeable -- increased traffic to both this website, VNN and VNN forums, and profit for us as we have turned and are turning that traffic into increased revenue. It has also been of great assistance in building VNN Forum into the number one white nationalist messageboard on the internet. Everything Strom has done has pretty much failed -- it has given those opposed to his nuttiness a wider forum for their views, and has really highlighted how there are only about twenty to forty people who compose almost the entirety of the conversation on Stormfront and many White Nationalist email lists.
Now, Strom is on the out at NA -- his job is crumbling -- and instead of thinking about how he is going to keep supporting himself when his income is gone, he continues to focus on internet messageboards, because he feels this is where "real white nationalism" is taking place. Does this seem like the actions of a sane man?
I really pity those who think that Strom has any real relevance to the white nationalist movement. He will be gone soon -- a replacement for him has finally been found. I think he senses this, which is why he has upped his nastiness a bit, but he is not going to continue to be part of the white nationalist movement much longer. Does anyone really want to jump onboard his sinking ship?
It really doesn't matter; Overthrow and VNN and VNNForum (and if current traffic is any indication ShopWhite soon as well) so dominate the white nationalist news market that nothing Strom can do can ever compete. His life of activism has been a near total failure, and has left him a broken man, totally dominated by his infantile wife. Is this someone that White Nationalists want to see lead?
I think that Strom being out is the only thing that is really going to let the rank and file of the National Alliance really see what is happening. I hope his ouster brings a near era of openness to the National Alliance. The National Alliance is a legal organization, and as such, has nothing to hide. The people that really control it are loyal to it beyond question. The only question is Kevin Alfred Strom, and to what pathetic depths will his internet obsession sink before his life finally crumbles around him?
