Get a grip people.
Did he have a drug problem? - obviously - so he went to rehab. Unfortunately for him and unlike the rumoured 7 Hawthorn players, the couple of collingwood players, the unholy saint and a few port adelaide players, he was followed, named and put into the headlines for going to rehab.
The COPS in WA have stuffed up big time.
When it is all said and done this will be the COPS downfall.
1) No right to pull him over
2) No right to search his car
3) No right to demand a blood test
4) No right to keep him on the street for 45 minutes so all the cameras could arrive.
5) No right to keep him under surveillance and tap his phones
6) No right to name medically prescribed drugs in the car.
7) Misleading statements on drugs found in his car - (They mention they existed but did not mention on whom they were found) this is deliberately misleading, is not in the public interest, is a breach of civil liberties and can only have beeen released to harm
8) It is harrasement
Then we get to the WEST COAST and the AFL
1) The West Coast will have been given no alternativer, particularly from the AFL - If their decision was based on a gross misrepresentation from the police, then refer above, as the WEST COAST will be lining up after the police.
2) The AFL has left Cuzz out to dry - why - because he was outed outside its feeble drug rules - he comes from a non Victorian premiership winning club - and its and opportunity for Cuzz to get tough
Who will loose in all of this
1) Cuzz looses his career
2) The WA Police and the WA state government will loose millions in compensation
3) The West Coast will loose their most valuable player of the last decade
4) The AFL will improve - Why? Because the two blokes who should never have been given the jobs in the first place will get shoved out. "Its time to go Demetriou" and "Anderson you are a looser" - These two guys have brought the game in to disrepute - SIMPLE FACT
