While your discussing tax I'd like to ask a question I keep meaning to clarify with my accountant.
That is: eg- if I buy parcels of xyz shares in three consecutive years say 10c 20c and 30c and then sell part there of, say half, is the cost base the average price ie 20cents?
Or do I have to work out the first parcel first then part of the second?
