Not sure if Mr King wants to provide loans but GPP actually have a history of not being able to attract investors other than retail, but there has also been poor participation of shares through credit raisings / rights issues, the worse being in 2012 but as previously discussed was more poor timing or the share price for the credit raising was higher than at market prices........
I am sure that GPP management have tried numerous attempts at raising funds through sophisticated investors but failure to attract investors has only been reported once in their announcements. This isn't uncommon as the daily/weekly/monthly mechanisms of a working company isn't readily divulged to the market but the below was the time when they did report a lack of interest in their project.
It was a response from an issued 249D whereas two of the company's then large shareholders were dissatisfied with the company and they were trying to replace members of the board. This is their reply to the Requisitioning Members re: placement ....

Another concerned from these share holders was that the Placement to Astron effectively gave Mr King / related party shareholdings of 50.1% which could of blocked any suggestions of change.

Mr King has been a director of Astron since 1985
    http://www.astronlimited.com.au/about/PEOPLE/Gerard-King.aspx

The percentage held by Mr King / Related parties has dropped significantly (Approx 16%) but only due to the amount of dilution with over 950 million shares issued from End of Year 2014 (75,575,725) to End of Year 2017 (1,025,999,976)

It is apparent that GPP have failed to attract investors with Mr King consistently providing loans to GPP for projects and working capital as well as sales of assets including shares held in ASX listed companies (barrel is empty now) that were part of the Initial IPO, which in itself was scaled back from the original amount of shares on offer.

One does sometimes wonder were GPP would actually be if Mr King never provided loans????

Also bear in mind that some of the loans were repaid via credit raising proceeds / or the return of capital from Astron but also in shares as underwriter to a rights issue and not a return of cash.

    All the above IMO only
    cheers
