I'm with u rebel1 , short selling stock should be banned .
Only those who own a stock should have the right to sell it . Unfortuanately the asx likes transactions as that is how they profit from the silly game , same for brokers .
I was also a fan of banning futures but i've changed my mind on that one as it is probably the only method where the cash market can be supported , partic in the short term as per the Aug 18th lows .
