Well, I was not watching closely enough.

Last Thursday, 23/11/17, SOR applied to surrender 3 more Officer Basin exploration permits and those applications have since been accepted.

On 27/11/17 SOR applied to fully surrender 3 more Officer Basin exploration permits and on 28/11/17 SOR applied to partially surrender another 3 Officer Basin exploration permits.

Presuming the surrenders are all granted, which from what I've seen appears to be a mere formality, then in the Officer Basin that will leave them with 6 exploration permits (3 reduced in size) and 2 pending exploration permit applications.

They still have the Lennis and Ilkurlka permits plus another area which is reduced in size, comments on their website suggests that this reduced area is another impact project.

From this it appears that the PKS project was either an outright failure or the risk/reward return was not sufficient to divert funds from other more potentially lucrative projects, ie impact structures, conglomerate gold, golden blocks and the memory ink.

The most recent slide in share price appears to have coincided with the requests to surrender these exploration permits.

A double check of their Pilbara permits shows no changes to those 13 pending applications.

Hopefully we can get an update shortly from the company which will clarify their moves and where to next.
