Without proper treatment, high-nitrogen and high-COD #wastewaterfrom fish processing poses a great environmental threat. Fluence is leading the way in solving this problem, helping a large tuna processor in Ecuador add #AnaerobicDigestion to its treatment without interrupting production. Since then, Fluence has commissioned a smart, decentralized #wastewater reuse treatment plant for a fish rendering plant in Ecuador, and has announced a US$1.7 million contract with another fish processor to purify wastewater from its processing and packing plants.
