rhenium update

Does anyone find the complete lack of reference to Rhenium in last Friday's twin announcements a little strange? Is it a case of "don't mention the war" or simply another test of holders' faith?

The current price movements tend to suggest continued concerns over some aspect(s) of the company. This is against a market backdrop where many other resource stocks have rebounded from their August lows (and then some), a record gold price and continued strength in base metals prices.

I'm keeping a very close watch on this company's reporting style... management has a duty to inform the market in a timely manner - period. Given their experience running BSG they should be fully aware of their fiduciary and numerous other statutory duties to shareholders.

Ordinarily I am happy to let things run their course and see a steady flow of results released in the fullness of time. However, prior announcements have unnecessarily buoyed investor expectations particularly in relation to the timing of material announcements and the presence of Re and its potential value add to Mt Isa.

If the Re results are still pending then why not mention this last Friday replete with a revised expected timeframe for results? If the Re results are poor then, similarly, the market needs to be informed so investors can make informed trading decisions. Information is the key. I remain unconvinced that management are keeping shareholders informed in a timely manner.

In writing the above comments I've tried to stick to the facts... does anyone else share this viewpoint?
