Now , Im well aware that I am the only Costello supporter round here , if Howard had stepped down and Costello in charge , I would be back out handing out How to Vote cards . I still feel , that had JH not gone that extra term things would be looking a lot better .
Right now Rudd is coming accross to the electorate as fresh , new ideas , the Aussie version of Blair when Blair took power . Lets not forget that one of Howards greatest political idols is Thatcher . Everything is against the Libs and really if you are a card carrying member you should have seen it coming .
