They shouldn’t have got rid of the Safety Superintendent they had there in 2015. Unfortunately, he wasn’t “ a cultural fit in the organisation” due to actually knowing what he was doing.
I wonder when his replacement will Nic off......
It’s rare for the DMNR to shut mines down. The safety breach has to be pretty serious, and several warnings are given in advance. It’s a terrible reflection on the Rocklands management. They were shut down in Feb last year and still haven’t got their act together.
