From memory though...a Bronze doesnt necessarily have to be a heroic or valourous act but can be one of merit.
It could I guess be argued as being a survivor and at the center of a recovery action that -for whatever reason - lifted the morale and acted as a template of action for other troops was sufficintly meritorious to have qualified her.
I for one wouldnt begrudge her....would you???
